FAQ

What projectors work best with ST9 Tri-Color Fresnel?

ST9 Tri-Color Fresnel is designed for high-brightness environments and high-performance projectors — specifically for medium/long throw projectors only (not UST). It requires sufficient brightness to take full advantage of its 92.6% ALR performance.Key Specifications:

JMGO N1S Infinity — ~$1,500+, 3300 ISO lumens, flagship

Hisense C2 Pro — ~$1,999, 2600 CVIA lumens, versatile premium

XGIMI HORIZON 20 Max — ~$2,299, 5700 ISO lumens, recommended for most living rooms

Hisense XR10 — ~$5,299, 6000 ANSI lumens, 2026 flagship

XGIMI TITAN Noir — ~$3,999+, 7000 ISO lumens, CES 2026 flagship⚠️ NOT Compatible (UST projectors):

Hisense L9Q, L9Q Pro (UST) — use White Soft Screen

Any laser TV (UST) projectorWhy tri-color laser + ST9? ST9's ~60% speckle suppression perfectly complements tri-color laser projectors — they produce the most beautiful colors but also generate the most noticeable speckle, which ST9 effectively reduces.

Does Fresnel screen support side projection?

No — Fresnel screens require front projection (center alignment). The Fresnel lens structure is optimized for light coming directly from the front. Side projection will significantly reduce the ALR performance. Why front projection matters:
●The Fresnel lens focuses on rejecting light from the ceiling (overhead ambient light)
●Light coming from the side will not be properly rejected, causing washed-out images
●Optimal viewing angle is within ±60° from center

Does the Fresnel panel face up or down?

Fresnel panel orientation depends on projector placement:

Installation Type

Projector Position

Fresnel Direction

Standard (desk/floor stand)

Desk, floor stand

Panel faces down

Ceiling mount

Fixed on wall/ceiling

Panel flipped 180°

Note: "Ceiling mount" refers to the projector's actual position, not whether the machine is inverted.

General FAQs

1.What size projection screen do I need?

The ideal screen size depends on your room size and seating distance. Here's a quick guide:

● For Living Rooms (15-20ft viewing distance): 100-120 inches

● For Medium Rooms (10-15ft viewing distance): 84-100 inches

● For Small Rooms (under 10ft viewing distance): 72-92 inches

Our Compact Housing Advantage:

● Standard 100" screen: Requires ~260cm (102in) housing length

● Airuier screen 100" : Only needs 237cm (93.3in) housing

● Result: You can fit a larger screen in the same space!

Pro Tip: Measure your available wall or ceiling space first. Our compact housing design saves up to 23cm, allowing you to install a larger screen in tighter spaces.
